Apprenticeships

Jericho offers supported apprenticeships, in eight Social Enterprises, to 16-24 year olds facing barriers to employment

Our Apprenticeships

We offer employment and training, in one of our eight Social Enterprises, in addition to a recognised qualification in partnership with a local college or training provider.

Every apprentice can expect:

  • 30 hours work a week
  • From national minimum apprenticeship wage, depending on age and experience
  • Level 2 NVQ in a relevant qualification
  • Level 1 Functional Skills in Maths, English & IT if required

Our Support

We deliver individually tailored apprenticeships with a wrap around programme of personal development, mentoring, training and specialist support, aimed at those who are facing barriers to employment and struggling to find work.

Each apprentice is allocated a Client Support Officer who provides information, advice and guidance to help them stay engaged and achieve the best they can.

On completion of the Apprentice programme, Jericho supports the young person into sustainable employment elsewhere. As a result, 83% of our most recent cohort of apprentices progressed into work upon completion.
