 Self Employed Drivers/Owner Drivers

Nechells, Birmingham

We are looking for 3.5 tonne drivers/owner drivers to add capacity to our expanding recycling business.

Work would be on an ad-hoc basis to cover annual leave and sickness as well as increasing our capacity following Bank Holidays.  CSCS card and/or DBS clearance an advantage and would increase the opportunity to offer work.

Apprenticeship Vacancies

We are currently recruiting 16-24 year olds to become apprentices in our social enterprises:

  • Catering (Nechells)
  • Print
  • Recycling
  • ReUse

An apprenticeship at Jericho includes 30 hours of work a week at the national apprenticeship minimum wage of £3.30 per hour. You will receive on the job training and undertake Maths, English and IT Functional Skills and a level 2 NVQ with one of our partner colleges.

Work Placements (coming soon)

We will be recruiting 16-29 year olds to take part in 2 weeks’ work experience in a Jericho social enterprise.

At Jericho we train, support and develop talented people in the east of Birmingham. We’re truly passionate about introducing young people to the world of work and helping ambitious newcomers into the industry to fulfil their dreams.

  • Applicants must not be registered on work programme.
  • NEET (Not in employment, education or training)
