2019: A Year to Remember

2019 has been a year to remember at the Jericho Foundation. We have seen changes and challenges along with amazing stories of success. We have spent a lot of time this year focusing on sustainability, and this has led us to concentrate our resources on the elements of the organisation that create the greatest impact. Our ‘year in numbers’ shows what we’ve been up to in 2019:

Anti-Slavery Day Award Winners

We were delighted to win an Anti-Slavery Day Outstanding Contribution Award in the Rebuilding Lives category in October. Our Equiano Project offers long-term person-centred work with survivors of modern slavery with complex needs so they can regain skills and confidence for mainstream employment.

A Daring Escape

They became aggressive, he was threatened and assaulted and asked to hand over his passport. With injuries to his mouth and head he took his chance to escape through a door, jumping through a gap in handrails from the fourth to the second floor.
