Jericho Foundation Awareness Raising Dinner

workWe are hosting an exclusive informal dinner in January for local business leaders, philanthropists and dignitaries in order to raise awareness of The Jericho Foundation.

Based in Birmingham, Jericho changes lives through enterprise. We provide paid employment together with support, guidance and training. We work with a wide range of disadvantaged people who are struggling – young people, ex-offenders, homeless people and victims of modern slavery. We help them to overcome their personal and work-based barriers while they learn on-the-job. Furthermore, when they are ready, we also provide support for them to find permanent employment elsewhere.

The dinner will be hosted by one of our Trustees, Martin Warner, who is CEO of Michelmersh Brick Holdings PLC and a supporter of Jericho for more than 10 years. Our CEO, Richard Beard, will give a brief overview of the work of the charity and will share a few case studies of people that we have helped.

We need to build relationships with business leaders, philanthropists and dignitaries who can support Jericho, and the valuable services it provides, in a variety of ways:

  • Donate, fundraise or invest
  • Employ those we are helping
  • Work in partnership with us
  • Volunteer
  • Advise on raising our profile in the City
