Based at:                    The Old Depot, 60 Riland Road, Sutton Coldfield, B75 7AU

Working hours:         30 hours per week (Mon-Sun)

Salary:                        £99 per week

About the Role

We are looking for an apprentice to join one of our most successful and rapidly growing social enterprises. You will work with our friendly and energetic ReUse staff team for 12 months providing a quality service to customers

Job Description
Daily duties will include:

  • Greeting customers as they enter the shop.
  • Accepting new donations.
  • Assisting customers to find the product they are looking for.
  • Dealing with incoming customer queries.
  • Loading and unloading items from customer’s cars.
  • Serving customers on the till.
  • Keeping the shop clean and tidy, includes vacuuming and dusting.
  • Attending all NVQ sessions and maintaining folder work.

Person Specification
The ideal candidate will:

  • Be able to complete 30 hours per week.
  • Be committed to 12 months employment.
  • Be able to work well in a team and get along with colleagues.
  • Be able to follow instructions.
  • Be willing to work on a rota that includes weekend and bank holiday work.
  • Be flexible as you may be required to work at a different location.
  • Be able to achieve Level 1 Maths and English after 12 months.
  • Be committed to achieving the NVQ.

No previous work experience is required and full training will be given.

Apprenticeship Information
During the apprenticeship you will work with a Jericho partner college to complete:

  • Level 2 Apprenticeship in Customer Service
  • Level 1 Functional Skills in Maths & English, if required.

Support Available
Throughout the apprenticeship you will be supported by the ReUse staff team. You will also work with a Client Support Officer who you will meet regularly to discuss any issues or concerns you may have.
