What is Ignition?

Ignition is a training programme designed to equip churches, community organisations, charities and voluntary groups to deliver practical job search support and guidance for unemployed men and women in their local community providing job seekers with the knowledge, skills, practical support and encouragement to help them search for work effectively.

Passionate and willing volunteers are equipped with the skills, knowledge and confidence to deliver help to job seekers through knowledge and confidence to deliver an Ignition Job Search course, to set up a job club or run employability workshops, one-to-one support or general advice.

Workshops

We run a 2 day or 1 intense day workshop sessions that are interactive as well as informative. An Ignition training resource manual accompanies both sessions and provides comprehensive and ready to use session plans, hand-outs and extension activity resources are all included.
