Miracle Laundry social enterprise celebrates seventh birthday

JERICHO’s Miracle Laundry social enterprise celebrated seven years of operation last week.

The laundry, which offers self service washing and drying plus ironing and dry cleaning, hosted a birthday event to say thank you to customers and staff.

Georgia Bantock, Miracle Laundry Manager said “It’s been amazing to have seen the growth of the Miracle Laundry over the last seven years. Thanks to our customers, we have been able to employ and support people who were facing extreme challenges in getting a job including survivors of modern slavery”.

A laundry customer said “To all of the lovely staff at Miracle Laundry, A huge thanks for all of your excellent customer service over the last couple of years…hope to be back again soon”
